| ABOUT THE “100 DAYS HOPE VIGILS” Vigils were organized around the world on November 8, 2009 to mark 100 days of Sarah, Shane and Josh’s detention in Iran. As the three hikers continue to be held in Iran, their friends and supporters gathered to send them light, strength and spirit during the dark days of their detention. With a unified voice, supporters called on Iranian authorities to take immediate action and release Sarah, Shane and Josh into the loving arms of their families. At the vigils we encouraged supporters to send letters to the hikers at Evin Prison; Tehran, Iran.
